John F. Gray has spent the last 23 years working in theatre, film, voiceover, television, and commercials in Chicago and beyond.
In voiceover, John has recorded campaigns for the likes of United Healthcare, KPMG, McDonalds and Mack Trucks.
On film he appeared in the feature Into The Wake, written and directed by award-winning filmmaker John Mossman (The Artistic Home). In 2012 it won the "Industry Choice" Award at the Dances With Films Festival in Los Angeles.
His television credits include Chicago Fire (NBC), and Boss (Starz).
As a member of Chicago’s theatre community he became a company member of The Trap Door Theatre in 2002, and has performed in several productions there. He has also had the great privilege to perform at the Steppenwolf, Drury Lane, Writers, Timeline, A Red Orchid, Jackalope, Fox Valley Repertory, Shattered Globe, Factory, Prop, Live Bait, Famous Door, and Mary Arrchie Theatres. Regional Theatre credits include: Howmet Playhouse, Lakeside Shakespeare Festival.
When he's not performing, and being a parent to two teenagers, he rocks out with the Chicago Rock Ensemble The Statutes of Liberty.
